• WCS Closure Resources

In response to school closures, it's our goal to provide as many resources for families to work through this period of social distancing.  Below, you'll find a vast amount of general educational links, ideas, and crafy fun for your children to do during this time to keep their days productive!

Your students' teachers will be reaching out with instruction by Monday, March 23rd.  If you have any questions, as always, do not hesitate to contact their teacher or call the main office at 607-356-3301.  You can find teacher's email addresses in the Staff Directory

Cassie Stephens: Art Teacherin' in Tennessee

"Since yesterday, I've been trying to think of a way to turn this lemon of a situation into lemonade. I know that I am confused and frustrated, sad and scared...so I cannot imagine how our students are feeling. I had to turn in lessons for home-based learning (which I shared earlier today) but I want to do more. So I'll be doing a little art teacherin' every day."

  • Speech Therapy Skills
"I recommend that families shoot for two 5-minute sessions per day to target your child's speech and language skills.  The research is showing that shorter, more frequent sessions are more effective for learning and retention than longer, less frequent sessions."

    Spanish Storytime with Mrs. Bea
"Hola amigos! I’m starting this group because I love to share stories in Spanish with kids. Also I don’t want to skip all my storytimes that I already had planned with my little friends. So this is an invitation to share some Spanish and have fun in your house." ❤️
