Welcome to the Transportation Department,
My name is Joseph Chapman, I am the Supervisor / Mechanic / Bus Driver and I oversee the transporting of our students. I look forward to working with you in the safe transporting of your children to and from school. If you have any questions or need information please feel free to call the bus garage at 607-356-3263, and I will see what I can do to be of service.
*If your child will not be riding the bus in the morning*
please call the bus garage before 6:30 am so their driver can adjust their route accordingly.
The Transportation Department requires...
That a parent/guardian/or known adult be present when students from the elementary grades are dropped off. If an adult is not present at the time of drop off, the student or students will remain on the bus and will be transported back to the school at the end of the bus route. The school will attempt to contact the parent or guardian to inform them that their child/children have been transported back to the school for the parent/guardian to pick up.
To keep our standards high and have a nurturing, cooperative, team-building type of atmosphere where we can operate as a highly successful, safe and efficient transportation unit.
