Good morning Whitesville families,
Thank you to everyone who attended last night's meeting. To follow up, no motion was made to tuition our 9th through 12th grade students to Andover. The Board of Education's public statement is, "we have heard the voice of the public. We are directing the Superintendent to develop an agreement to tuition high school students to Andover Central School, while pursuing options to maintain students at Whitesville Central School." Mrs. McNeely and I will be reaching out to have roundtable discussions with our parents and sharing information with our community as we are able. Thank you for your continued support of Whitesville Central School.

With summer right around the corner, and kids spending more time online, it's a great time to review online behavior and learn how kids can stay safer using the internet. NetSmartzkids.org is a website with games to teach kids how to stay safe on the internet.

The Annual 7th Grade Class trip to Gettysburg is underway! Their first stop was the Civil War Museum today.
This summer, make sure your child's physical and immunizations are up to date! NY State requires physicals for any new student and students going into PreK/K, 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th grades. Any questions or need the required form? Ask the school nurse, Sandi Barner.

ATHLETICS UPDATE:
The annual end of year sports banquet is June 8th at 6pm at Whitesville CS. Please join us in celebrating the accomplishments of our student-athletes. Dinner will be provided by the Boosters. Families are encouraged to bring a dessert to pass.

👩🎓 Miss Kennedy Bledsoe wrapped up our Senior Spotlights for the WCS graduating class of 2023. Her send-off meals yesterday were egg & cheese breakfast pizza and chicken burrito bowl as she enjoyed lunch with her mom!

👩🎓 Yesterday's Cafe Spotlight was shining on the one and only Brynn Scholl! Her chosen meals brought us egg, sausage, and cheese english muffins followed by the ultimate walking tacos for lunch.

👩🎓 This week started out with our very own "Vanessa Hall Day" in the WCS Senior Spotlight!
Vanessa requested french toast sticks and sausage for breakfast and the delicious chicken alfredo with broccoli for lunch.
Good luck to Vanessa in her future endeavors! She's already found many ways to make WCS proud and she's not even out the doors yet.

Aislinn enjoyed the famous sausage sandwich on a bagel and General Tsao's chicken, rice, and egg roll!
Hailey Day brought us egg & cheese breakfast pizza and spirals with meat sauce and cauliflower for lunch! Also a big hit in Cafe Blue Jay!
