October is National Protect Your Hearing Month. Join Noisy Planet in spreading the word about hearing protection. Practice safe listening for yourself and for your family by taking these three simple steps:
Lower the volume.
Move away from the noise.
Wear hearing protectors, such as earplugs or protective earmuffs.
"Noisy Planet" is a national public education campaign is designed to increase awareness among parents of children ages 8 to 12 about the causes and prevention of noise-induced hearing loss.

If floors could talk... "According to my math, I've cut through about 100 layers of finish in there." Our kids have enjoyed PE back in the Small Gym this week after several weeks of hard work sanding and refinishing the floor and stage!
This morning, Kindergarten had their annual tour of the Whitesville Fire Hall ! We think there might be some future volunteers in the making here! Thank you to all of our volunteers who made this another memorable training event!

She will be coming back in a few weeks to do cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments , sealants and telehealth dental consultations right here at Whitesville Central School!
