WCS Senior Holden Matteson was selected as a member of the 2023 NYSSMA All-State Mixed Chorus. Only 224 students from across the state were selected to be members of this elite performance ensemble. Holden earned a perfect score on his Solo Festival performance this past spring, which earned him this outstanding opportunity. Holden will attend the NYSSMA Annual Winter Conference in December and will be performing a concert at the Eastman Theatre on December 3rd. Congratulations Holden!
Mosaic Health Community Dentistry is going to be presenting dental education to our PreK-5th graders on September 18. They will be sending home registration packets to sign up for dental services at Whitesville School. Any student, PreK-12th grade can schedule a cleaning, fluoride treatment, sealant, a virtual dental exam, dental xrays and intraoral photos right here at the school in October. More details to come!
We want every student to have what they need to be healthy and happy at school. Any medication that a student needs or wants during school hours requires a doctor's order, even an over-the-counter medication such as tylenol or ibuprofen or an allergy medication. The form for the doctor to sign is located on the nurse's page of our website entitled "Medication Permission Form."

Did your child get a physical or receive immunizations this summer? Please have your doctor's office fax the paperwork to the school nurse at 607-356-3539. If the doctor ordered a new medication for your child to be given at school, make sure they send the form to authorize medication administration at school as well.
