We are excited to share that we received a donation from Distributed Energy Infrastructure. With these funds we are able to provide a $65 gift certificate to Reed's Market in Genesee for each household that has a child attending Whitesville Central school. Gift certificates must be picked up and signed for in our main office beginning today through Friday, December 22 from 7:30 AM to 4 PM. You may only sign for and pick up your household certificate. Have a great day and happy holidays.
We are already earning tokens for our vending machine. Lots of great listeners and good helpers at WCS. Happy Reading

Tis the season .... for viruses! Just a friendly reminder, if you find your children coming down with symptoms and questioning whether you should be pushing through and coming to school, you may find this info sheet helpful. In general, a child should stay home for 24 hours after a fever subsides, after vomiting or 24 hours after starting an antibiotic for a bacterial infection like strep throat. Certain rules apply to COVID, chicken pox and other viruses. Call the school nurse if you have a question!”

📣We are completing vision and hearing screening at Whitesville Central School for grades 1, 3, 5, 7 and 11. Parents will be getting a letter with vision results, as well as, if a student fails the hearing screening. We recommend everyone gets their hearing and vision checked by their doctor every year -- the screenings done at school indicate any issues that a healthcare provider should evaluate and follow-up. Stay tuned in for more wellness information!💙
🎵Cookies, milk, juice, and water will be available in the Small Gym from 5:30-5:55pm. We hope you will join us to share in some Holiday Cheer!🍪🥛🎵

Our WCS Holiday Concert is quickly approaching! Join us Dec 8th @ 6pm for a night full of PreK-12 holiday joy!

Please help our Student Council collect items for the SPCA Feline Giving Tree Wishlist! Items will be collected until Dec 15th. See flyer for wishlist items and donation box locations.

Senior Citizens: Please join us for our holiday concert and luncheon. 🎄

November is American Diabetes Month. More than 37 million children and adults have diabetes in the United States. Here are some common symptoms of diabetes:
Urinating often
Feeling very thirsty
Feeling very hungry—even though you are eating
Extreme fatigue
Blurry vision
Cuts/bruises that are slow to heal
Weight loss—even though you are eating more (type 1)
Tingling, pain, or numbness in the hands/feet (type 2)
Early detection and treatment of diabetes can decrease the risk of developing the complications of diabetes. Talk to your doctor if you have any concerns!
Thank you Mr. "Bud" Cramer for sending 66 loomed scarves to Whitesville Central School. Our students will be warm because of your hard work and generosity! 💙
