Our 1st grade class of off to a great start. We are celebrating our first full week of school by knowing all of the new class expectations and following them to the "T" 💙🤍💙

Music is in the air inside the nest! Sixth graders have been getting re-acquainted with their instruments after summer break. Fourth grade enjoyed an "Instrument Petting Zoo" on Tuesday as they prepare to start learning to play their chosen instruments! Last week, third graders made kazoos and then played along with a song on the big screen!
The Daniel G. Denner Memorial Wellness Center (Fitness Room) and Hallway Walking is back with new hours of operation! The Fitness Room will open on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5-6pm when school is in session! We are looking for community volunteers to help us offer additional hours! All students have been adapting to their lockers and new lock combinations this past week, and Pre-K was no exception! Practice makes perfect!
Our Outdoor Education classes were in full swing today with Mrs Jackson, learning everything from identifying colors to building with nature!

📢Remote Area Medical is having a free clinic in Olean on Saturday, September 13. They offer free medical, dental and vision care on a walk-in basis. 🩺The clinic opens at 6am. Access Allegany is providing free rides from Wellsville to Olean. For more information, see www.ramusa.org.

Our last field trip of the summer was to Stony Brook State Park. With the great outdoors being our theme, students were able to spend the day swimming in a freshwater stream, hiking the Gorge Trail to view beautiful waterfalls and playing on the playground. Both campers and staff had a wonderful day!
