WCS's 6th and 7th graders traveled to the West Union Museum in Rexville, New York today. A BIG Blue Jay thank you to Mr. McCaffrey and all his helpers for the museum tour, history lessons, snacks, and the hands-on experience of making apple cider. It was amazing!🍎💙🍏

The Maple City Lions Club will be doing vision screenings on October 17 for Pre K and those in kindergarten who haven't had the screening. WCS Senior Holden Matteson was selected as a member of the 2023 NYSSMA All-State Mixed Chorus. Only 224 students from across the state were selected to be members of this elite performance ensemble. Holden earned a perfect score on his Solo Festival performance this past spring, which earned him this outstanding opportunity. Holden will attend the NYSSMA Annual Winter Conference in December and will be performing a concert at the Eastman Theatre on December 3rd. Congratulations Holden!
Mosaic Health Community Dentistry is going to be presenting dental education to our PreK-5th graders on September 18. They will be sending home registration packets to sign up for dental services at Whitesville School. Any student, PreK-12th grade can schedule a cleaning, fluoride treatment, sealant, a virtual dental exam, dental xrays and intraoral photos right here at the school in October. More details to come!
